McKenzie enjoys working with a wide range of ages and concerns. She views individuals and families through a holistic lens, encouraging growth within emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational areas of daily life. Her primary clinical approach is person-centered and Adlerian, and EMDR along with other supportive theories including CBT and play therapy techniques, When she isn’t working you can find her crocheting, crafting, spending time with her family, or fishing. Guided by Light Counseling provides a safe space for healing by focusing on the whole individual or family, by utilizing counseling based techniques focusing on acceptance, forgiveness, and self-care. Clients will be offered treatment based on individual and family needs and will be involved in treatment throughout the entirety of the process. The overall goal of this practice is to provide healing, support, and change within the community by focusing on the individual and/or family system.
